Hi All,
I would like to advise all patrolling members that we will be now recording all radio
transmissions that occur through SurfCom. Under the current Communication Act we
have to advise all clubs that this will be occurring.
If any member does not wish to have their communications recorded please do not
use the radio. In this circumstance please contact SurfCom by phone on 4382 1100.
If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact the branch office
on 4353 0299.
Kind Regards
Greg Collins
Manager of SurfCom

We have formalised the patrol teams for the 2009/10 season. There may be some
adjustments as the SRC and Rookie members are added to patrol teams but the
Captains have already had their initial meeting to prepare for the upcoming
season.
Note that AM patrols start at 08:45hrs and finish at 13:00hrs...while the PM patrols
start at 13:00hrs and finish at 17:15hrs. Note there is an adjustment to the hours
of patrol as we enter the Christmas season and the beach is patrolled for a longer
period this extends AM patrols until 13:30hrs and PM patrol starts at 13:30 until
18:15hrs... Check with your Patrol Captain for the dates of changeover.
