It is with great sadness that I am writing to you all to advise of one of the legends
of Surf Life Saving and the characters who have moulded us into who we are
today, Joseph Henry Kenneth Bond (Ken Bond) has passed away at 5.10am this
morning (22 January 2010) after being rushed to hospital on Wednesday. Bondy
as we all know him was a life member of The Entrance SLSC, Surf Life Saving
Central Coast, Surf Life Saving NSW and SLSA.
Please join with me in passing on Surf Life Savings’ and my sincerest condolences
to the family and celebrate ‘Bondy’ for the love he had for the movement.

We are delighted to see the National Surf Life Saving Titles back at Kurrawa again in March 2010.
In previous years we have accommodated competitors from competing clubs and are happy to extend an invitation to your club in 2010, offering a 15% discount on all accommodation booked.
We have both 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen with full cooking facilities, separate laundry with washing machine and clothes dryer, very spacious lounge and dining areas, and a full length balcony.
The 2 bedroom apartments sleep a maximum of 5 pax and 3 bedroom apartments sleep a maximum 7 pax.
Our facilities include 2 swimming pools, one heated with an attached spa, a male and female sauna, small gymnasium, 2 half court tennis courts and a lovely big BBQ area with 2 gas barbecues which cater for large groups.
