SLSCC is excited to release the attached circular calling for experienced lifesavers to form the first SLSCC UAV/ Drone Rescue Operators Service.
Certification has been organised with partner organisation, “Little Ripper” with the expectation that we will have qualified members operating UAV’s by the start of the lifesaving season.
The initial team will be limited to 4-6 members. Can you please forward this circular onto interested and relevant members within your club.
Members with prior experience in operating drones will be looked at favourably, however this is not essential.
