WINS SLS CENTRAL COAST CLUB OF THE YEAR
On Saturday 10 June 2017, Ocean Beach SLSC was awarded the prestigious award of SLS Central Coast Club of the Year. The club won this by a clear 6 points ahead of the 2nd place goer Toowoon Bay with McMasters Beach coming 3rd. The Surf Life Saving Central Coast Awards of Excellence saw almost 400 members, supporters and stakeholders converge at Mingara Recreation Club for a fantastic night of recognition and celebration.
Ocean Beach SLSC members also walked away with another 5 major awards on the night. These include:
1st place in the Patrol Competition
Lifesaver of the Year – Jordan Smith
Young Lifesaver of the Year – Ryan Chiswell
Junior Lifesaver of the Year – Hayden Doyle
Rookie of the Year – Liam Oakes
